The 10 Basic Beliefs of True Jesus Church
True Jesus Church holds ten basic beliefs, all drawn from the Bible: Jesus Christ the one true God, the Holy Bible, the true church, water baptism, the Holy Spirit, footwashing, Holy Communion, the Sabbath, salvation and the Second Coming.
- 01Jesus Christ耶稣基督True Jesus Church believes that Jesus Christ is the one true God who became human, died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day and ascended to heaven, and that He is the only Saviour of all people.Read
- 02The Holy Bible圣经True Jesus Church believes that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God, and is the only basis for what we believe and the standard for how Christians live.Read
- 03The True Church教会True Jesus Church believes that it was established by the Lord Jesus Christ through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last days, the “latter rain”, to restore the true church of the apostles’ time.Read
- 04Water Baptism洗礼True Jesus Church believes that water baptism washes away sins and gives new birth, and that it must be done in natural living water, in the name of the Lord Jesus, with the person fully immersed, head bowed and face down.Read
- 05The Holy Spirit圣灵True Jesus Church believes that receiving the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance in the kingdom of heaven, and that speaking in tongues is the evidence that a person has received the Holy Spirit.Read
- 06Footwashing洗脚礼True Jesus Church believes that footwashing, done once in the name of Jesus Christ for every person who has been baptised, gives the believer a part with the Lord, and teaches love, holiness, humility, forgiveness and service.Read
- 07Holy Communion圣餐礼True Jesus Church believes that Holy Communion, using one unleavened bread and grape juice, is the sacrament in which baptised believers remember the Lord’s death and partake of His flesh and blood, so that they may have eternal life and be raised on the last day.Read
- 08The Sabbath Day安息日True Jesus Church believes that the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), is a holy day blessed by God, kept under grace to remember His creation and salvation and to look forward to eternal rest.Read
- 09Salvation救恩True Jesus Church believes that salvation is a gift given by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and that believers must rely on the Holy Spirit to pursue holiness, honour God and love others.Read
- 10The Second Coming基督再临True Jesus Church believes that the Lord Jesus will return from heaven on the last day to judge the world, when the righteous will receive eternal life and the wicked will receive eternal punishment.Read
